What We Collect

Share in Room does not ask for names, email addresses, or account passwords to create a standard room. Room identifiers, temporary messages, and uploaded file references are kept only as needed to operate the active room session.

Shared Content

Files and text shared in a room exist only for the duration of the session. Content is automatically deleted after 10 minutes of inactivity or when the room expires.

Premium rooms may remain active longer and may require a room password. Passwords are not stored as plain text. They are used only to control access to that room.

Cookies & Tracking

Share in Room does not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. Third-party services such as Google Ads may set their own cookies according to their privacy policies.

Protected rooms may use a temporary access cookie so you do not need to enter the same password on every room request. This cookie expires with the room access window and is not used for advertising or analytics by Share in Room.

Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party services (such as hosting providers or ad networks) to operate the platform. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Security

Room state is kept for the active session. Uploaded files may be stored temporarily on the server so other room participants can download them, and they are purged when rooms expire.

User Responsibility

Because rooms are temporary, users should download important material before a room expires. Users should only share files and text they have the right to share and should avoid posting confidential information in rooms that are not password protected.
